Animal Farm Book Jacket
One of the MAS type class projects where we are only restrained to use only type to create a book jacket of our own choice. I chose the high-school-must-read, George Orwell’s Animal Farm.
Propaganda Typeface reflects the political background and sets the tone.
‘The Ten Commandments of Animal Farm’ are listed and crossed out, emphasizing the inequality hidden under the surface of equality.
Expanding the book jacket will give readers a similar visual of the U.S. flag. This is to hint that propaganda is not past tense, it is still happening at the very minute.
